Iruma-kun season 4 gets a trailer and premieres in April

The fourth season of the anime Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) has revealed its main promotional video. The trailer features the opening theme “Ichi Ni no San,” performed by the band Penthouse, and highlights new characters joining the story based on the manga by Osamu Nishi.

The new season premieres on April 4th on NHK Educational at 6:25 PM Japan time. The anime will have 24 episodes divided into two consecutive cours. Additionally, online streaming begins on April 6th on Japanese platforms.

Iruma-kun gains new characters

Among the new additions to the cast is Takehito Koyasu, who will voice the character Amduscias Poro. The voice actor is known for memorable roles in several popular anime productions.

Another highlight of the cast is Setsuo Ito, who will play Purson Soi. The character is introduced as the mysterious 13th member of the Abnormal class, a classmate who remained practically forgotten until the events of this new phase of the story.

Synopsis

The anime Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun follows Iruma, a 14-year-old boy sold by his own parents to a demon. The demon, however, decides to adopt him and enrolls him in a school in the demon world.

The first season premiered in October 2019 with 23 episodes. The second season arrived in April 2021, and the third aired in October 2022. The original manga, published since 2017 in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion magazine, has established the work as one of the most popular school comedies today.
