MAPPA announced on Saturday that it is producing an anime adaptation of Ren Eguchi and illustrator Masa 's light novel , Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi ( Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill).

Therefore, the anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and other channels in January 2023 .

Kiyoshi Matsuda is directing the anime at MAPPA . Michiko Yokote (Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, xxxHOLiC, Shirobako) is overseeing the series scripts, while Nao Outsu Masa 's original character designs for animation. Finally, Masato Kouda (KonoSuba, Domestic Girlfriend), Kana Utatade (KanadeYUK), and Kuricorder Quartet (tsuritama) are composing the music.

Synopsis
Along with three other heroes, 27-year-old Mukouda Tsuyoshi is transported to a fantasy world to rescue a kingdom from a mysterious threat. However, it soon becomes clear that Tsuyoshi was drawn into the summoning ritual by accident.
Ren Eguchi began publishing the light novels on the website " Shosetsuka ni Narou " in 2016, and Overlap is publishing the printed novels. Additionally, the publisher is also publishing the manga adaptation by K. Akagishi in Japan, as well as the spinoff manga Tondemo Skill from Isekai Hourou Meshi: Sui no Daibouken by Momo Futaba .
