'Ishura' comes to an end with announcement of season 2

The last episode of the first season of the anime ended today (20), and to the delight of fans, a new promotional video was released to keep everyone informed about the 2nd season.

In the video released on Kadokawa's channel, we can see that the 2nd season of Ishura has had its official confirmation.

Takeo Takahashi (Hinako Note, The Island of Giant Insects) is the chief director, while Yuki Ogawa (FLCL Progressive, Mieruko-chan) directs the anime at Passione. Kenta Ihara (Mieruko-chan, Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-) supervises and writes the scripts for the series, finally, the SANZIGEN studio is responsible for the CG animation.

Synopsis:

Ishura's story takes place after the death of the Demon King, a series of demigods capable of overthrowing him have inherited the world: a master fencer who can discover how to defeat his opponent with a single glance; a spearman so fast he can break the sound barrier; a wyvern rogue who fights with three legendary weapons at once; an all-powerful wizard who can turn thoughts into reality; and an angelic assassin who deals instant death. Eager to obtain the title of “A True Hero”, but each of these champions pursues challenges against formidable enemies and triggers conflicts. However the battle to determine the mightiest of the powerful begins.

Therefore, the light novel Ishura premiered on Shōsetsuka ni Narō and Kakuyomu in September 2019.
