A new anime is on the way. Kadokawa has announced that the light novel "Ishura" by authors Keiso and Kureta will be getting an anime adaptation. According to the official website, a trailer for the anime has been released.

Synopsis:

The Demon King, who terrorized the world for twenty-five years, has been assassinated. However, the Hero who killed him never came forward. The light novel Ishura began publication in Shōsetsuka ni Narō e Kakuyomu in September 2019 and its 7th volume will be released on February 17, 2023.

Furthermore, a manga adaptation by Meguri began in March 2021.
