The official website for Isshuukan Friends (One Week Friends) has released a new promotional video for the series, an adaptation of the manga by Matcha Hazuki . The anime that will premiere on April 6th has two versions narrated by the protagonists in the video.
The manga created by Matcha Hazuki has been published by Square Enix since January 2012, already having 4 bound volumes.
Tarou Iwasaki will direct the series at Brains Base (D-Fragments, Nastsume's Book of Friends, Baccano!). Shôtarô Suga (The Eccentric Family, Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) writes the scripts, Eri Yamazaki handles the character designs.
Synopsis – The story revolves around Yuuki , a boy who wants to become friends with his classmate who sits next to him at school Kaori . However, she gently declines their friendship, saying, "But, my... My memories of my friends disappear in a week..." Even so, Yuki wants to become her friend, and so the two become friends time and time again as the weeks go by.
