J-Stars Victory VS+ | Game announced for the West!

J-Stars Victory VS+ was revealed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita during the Jump Festa 2015 event in Japan, but the big surprise came with the confirmation that the title will also be released in the West, something that seemed unlikely due to the problems licensing involved. The launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.

The game celebrates the 45th anniversary of the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump and the 20th of V Jump, magazines that were home to many successful series when they were still just manga pages, such as Dragon Ball Z, Knights of the Zodiac, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Samurai X, among others.

The main characters from these series will be able to face each other in 2 vs 2 fights, with support for up to 2 people in the same location and up to 4 in online mode. The title will also feature a Story Mode intertwining all the series involved and an unprecedented Arcade Mode. On PlayStation 4 it will also have improved high-resolution graphics.
