Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun will get a new anime

The official Twitter for the anime Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki (Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun) confirmed this Friday (23) that Yūki Yaku will have a new animated project . The announcement was made through a special video, which brought together scenes from the first season and featured the song “Colorful End Epilogue”, featured in the ending soundtrack.

The video didn't reveal the production's format—whether it will be a direct sequel, a film, or a spinoff series. Still, the news has already left fans on edge, especially four years after the first season premiered in January 2021 .

The previous project was directed by Shinsuke Yanagi ( Angel's 3 Piece , The Ryuo's Work Is Never Done! ) at project No.9 . The script was written by Fumihiko Shimo , while Akane Yano designed the characters. The soundtrack was composed by Hiromi Mizutani ( Non Non Biyori ).

Synopsis

The plot follows Fumiya Tomozaki , a skilled gamer who can't handle the "challenges" of real life. When he meets Aoi Hinami , an exemplary classmate, he begins receiving lessons on how to face everyday life as if it were a game, learning strategies to evolve outside the virtual world.

Finally, the first Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun anime premiered in January 2021.
