The survey involved approximately 25,000 Japanese artists , who claimed to be concerned about the development of Artificial Intelligence. However, some of them have already reported that the use of AI has already harmed their work in some way. For example, many artists have had their art stolen and republished on foreign websites. Furthermore, voice editing programs are also used for illegal online resale.

Therefore, the Japan Association of Artistic Workers intends to create government regulations for AI-generated works. This will be done precisely to compensate and give credit to the original creator of the artwork. The regulations include artists from all niches, such as artists, animators, and voice actors.

The use of Artificial Intelligence to create art, animation, stories, and much more is growing. Therefore, many artists are being affected by this technology. In China, some illustrators have already been replaced by AI that can generate high-quality art. However, other companies, such as Capcom, deny the use of AI-generated art due to copyright infringement.

Finally, do you also believe that the rise of AI will only harm artists in Japan and around the world? Leave your comment below!
