Japan – Artificial Intelligence harms the work of 94% of Japanese artists
Check it out:
The research involves around 25,000 Japanese artists , who claim to be concerned about the development of Artificial Intelligence. However, some of them have already reported that the use of AI has already harmed their work in some way. For example, many artists have had their art stolen and republished on foreign websites. Furthermore, programs that edit voices are also used for illegal resale online.
So the Japanese Art Workers Association intends to create government regulations for AI-generated work. This will be done precisely to compensate and give credit to the original creator of the artwork. The regulations include artists from all niches, such as designers, animators and voice actors.
The use of Artificial Intelligence is growing more and more to create arts, animations, stories and many other things. Therefore, many artists are being affected by this technology. In China, some illustrators have already been replaced by AI that can generate high-quality artwork. However, other companies, such as Capcom, deny the use of AI-generated artwork due to copyright infringement.
Finally, do you also believe that the growth of AI will only harm artists in Japan and the rest of the world? Leave your comment below!
