The Modelpress revealed the thirteen finalists of the “Mesukousei Misukon 2022 (High School Girl Beauty Contest 2022)”, which decides “the most beautiful student in all of Japan ”. According to the jury, the finalists were divided among the following regions: “Hokkaido/Tohoku”, “Kanto”, “Chubu”, “Kansai”, “Chugoku/Shikoku”, and “Kyushu/Okinawa”.

A total of 13 women were announced as national finalists, including representatives from each area and the competition's "Grand Prize" winner.

Therefore, the grand prize is scheduled to be announced on December 4th of this year. The winner of the "Grand Prize" will receive 1 million yen (approximately US$7,000) as well as a trip to Hawaii, the right to appear as a runway model at TGC Teen 2023, in addition to being part of a YouTube channel that will be launched next year and joining a major entertainment agency.

Finally, the event takes place every year and has been organized by Hobby Japan and FuRyu since 2015. Furthermore, the registration and evaluation methods are based on the lifestyle habits of high school students, among other factors.
