The Undead Unluck manga rarely makes it past the middle of the Weekly Shonen Jump . In other words, its chapters aren't often featured at the beginning of the magazine, where the most popular manga are featured. As a result, speculation has even arisen that the manga might be canceled.
However, it seems that the first episode of the anime caught the attention of many fans. Now, the anime is in a promising position and could increase its audience through new fans. Furthermore, the portal also indicates that the manga doesn't stand out for the quality of its illustrations. However, the anime's stylized art highlighted the work's true potential.

Synopsis:
Undead Unluck follows the story of Fuko Izumo, also known as the cursed woman of "bad luck." Fuko brings bad luck to anyone who touches her. The curse is so strong that it causes permanent damage to anyone who comes into contact with it for too long. One day, she is saved by Andy, a man who cannot die, considered a true "zombie." He hopes to discover a way to use Fuko's bad luck to finally die. Together, the two attempt to complete the missions given to them by the Book of Revelations. However, if they fail, the book could wipe out all of humanity.
Finally, Undead Unluck is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka . It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since January 2020, with its chapters collected in 18 volumes as of October 2023.
