Jeanne d'Arc anime arrives in October – Watch the trailer

Released by Shueisha magazine, the beautiful anime Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc to Renkin no Kishi (Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemy Knights) was confirmed for the month of October this year. The announcement accompanied a trailer that shows the beautiful animation.

Production is by studio AXsiZ (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn) with direction by Shin Itagaki (Basquash!) and character design by Jouji Sawada (Golden Kids).

Based on a novel, the story takes place in the 15th century in France during the Hundred Years' War with England. Montmorency, son of a nobleman, immerses himself in the study of magic and alchemy at a school for knights. However, after France's defeat at Agincourt, the school is disbanded and Montmorency is forced to flee.
