The seventh volume of the light novel included an announcement from author Ougyo Kawagishi Jinsei (La Bonne Vie) , confirming that an anime adaptation is in production and will premiere in July.
The production of an anime and a manga adaptation were announced in the sixth volume. Kawagishi launched the light novel with illustrations by Meruchi Nanase in 2012.
The story revolves around Yuki Akamatsu , a boy who joins the Crino Endo school newspaper, liberal arts representative Fumi Kujo, and physical education representative Ikumi Suzuki – they solicit answers from students about what's bothering them. The school editor-in-chief, Ayaka Nikaido, immediately puts him in the life advice column (jinsei). Three girls represent science.
