JoJo's Bizarre Adventure gets a second season!

Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has confirmed the second season of the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure . Fans were already expecting the announcement, as scenes featuring the character Joutarou Kuujou were shown at the end of the first season, with the message "To Be Continued ." The new episodes will cover the third arc of the manga, titled Stardust Crusaders.
Jojo Bizarre Adventure Director Tsuda Naokatsu and series director Kenichi Suzuki will return to direct the anime at David Production. Yasuko Kobayashi is responsible for the scripts, and Takako Shimizu for the character designs, completing the return of the main staff from the first season.

The first season was released in Japan in October 2012 and had a total of 26 episodes that adapted the first two story arcs: Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency .

Stardust Crusaders takes place 49 years after the first installment, with Joseph Joestar, Joseph Joestar's grandson, discovering he has the power to summon a Stand. This manga arc was first published in 1989 and consisted of a total of 15 books. The manga is currently in its eighth installment.
