Jujutsu Kaisen: Meet the characters who die in the Shibuya Incident

Spoiler alert : The Shibuya Incident is one of the most exciting arcs in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, which has finally begun to be adapted into anime. This arc is full of intense and impactful battles, but it also brings the sad loss of several characters dear to the public.

After the battle in Shibuya, the jujutsu sorcerers suffered great losses, including the sealing of Satoru Gojo. Furthermore, some promising sorcerers lost their lives in this bloody confrontation. On the other hand, curses also had significant and painful casualties.

Kento Nanami

Nanami suffers serious injuries in Shibuya and is unable to move after the fight. Mahito seizes the opportunity and ends the sorcerer's life while he is defenseless.

Nobara Kugisaki

Although the manga has not confirmed whether she died or survived, many fans believe that Nobara lost her life in this arc. She was seriously injured by Mahito's power, but Gege Akutami left her fate open, giving some fans hope that she may still be alive.

Hanami

Hanami teams up with the other curses to face Satoru Gojo in Shibuya, but is quickly defeated by the strongest sorcerer of all in the initial fight.

Dagon

Dagon, another powerful curse, causes a lot of damage to sorcerers during the fight. However, he is killed when Toji Fushiguro invades his domain and violently attacks him.

Mahito

Mahito fights his final battle against Itadori in this arc and ends up losing. While he was helpless, Suguro Geto used his innate technique to absorb Mahito.

Synopsis:

We are now introduced to Yuji Itadori, a high school student, involved with the secret society of wizards called Jujutsu Kaisen, although Itadori dedicated himself to training to face curses, which are evil beings that haunt the world of the living. This training journey has led him to confront increasingly greater challenges, whilst being prepared for the dangers he and his companions will face.

Therefore, Gege Akutami began serializing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018.
