Jujutsu Kaisen - Anime gets 2nd season

Finally, we have the announcement of the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime , through an event after the screening of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , a continuation of the series was announced that will premiere in the winter season (January) of 2023.

Staff

  • Director: Sunghoo Park (The God of High School, Jujutsu Kaisen)
  • Screenplay: Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish, Vinland Saga)
  • Design: Tadashi Hiramatsu (Yuri!!! on Ice, Kiseijū: Sei no Kakuritsu)
  • Music composers: Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Yoshimasa Terui and Arisa Okehazama
  • Studio: MAPPA (Shingeki no Kyojin Final Season, Dorohedoro)

The adaptation premiered in Japan during the fall (October) 2020 season and ran for a total of twenty-four episodes. The series' spin-off film arrived on December 24, 2021.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Synopsis

"One day, to save friends who were being attacked by Curses, Yuji Itadori swallows Ryomen-Sukuna's finger, absorbing his Curse. He then decides to enroll in the Tokyo Technical College of Sorcery, an organization that combats Curses... and thus begins the heroic legend of the boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse."
