According to a leak from eighth issue Weekly Shonen Jump magazine , it was revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen manga Gege Akutami plans to finish serializing the work this year (2023).

Gege Akutami had already commented during the Jump Festa 2023 about his steps to complete the story, saying it would be completed within a year. Furthermore, in February 2021, he also stated that he would finish his work "in two years."

Synopsis

Despite high school student Yuuji Itadori's immense physical strength, he joins the Occult Club. One day, they find a "cursed object" and unseal it, attracting creatures called "curses." Itadori rushes to his classmates' aid, but will he be able to defeat these creatures using only physical strength?!

Author Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. The first season of the anime had a total of 23 episodes and premiered during the fall of 2022 Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koutou Senmon Gakkou was released , adapting a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen.

Finally, the second season will premiere in 2023.
