According to a leak from eighth issue Weekly Shonen Jump magazine , it was revealed that author Gege Akutami of the manga Jujutsu Kaisen plans to finish serializing the work this year (2023).

Gege Akutami had already commented during the Jump Festa 2023 about his steps to finalize the story, saying that it would be completed within a year. Furthermore, in February 2021 he had also declared that he would finish his work “in two years”.
Synopsis
Despite high school student Yuuji Itadori having great physical strength, he enrolls in the Occult Club. One day, they find a “cursed object” and remove the seal, attracting creatures called “curses”. Itadori rushes to the aid of his colleagues, but will he be able to take down these creatures using just physical strength?!
Author Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. Additionally, the first season of the anime had a total of 23 episodes and premiered during Fall 2022 (October to December). In December 2021, the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koutou Senmon Gakkou , which adapts a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen.
Finally, the second season will debut in 2023.
