Jujutsu Kaisen Blu-ray fixes animation errors from season 2

Since the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen aired, some fans have criticized the anime for its animation quality. However, the Blu-ray release of the anime showcased much better quality in the animated scenes that had received criticism.

Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc , which tells the past of Satoru Gojo , there were some episodes that received criticism, for not having animation of the same level as the 1st season of the anime. The episodes in question are from 25 to 28, which adapt Gojo's battle against Toji Fushiguro .

According to the animators, the scenes were darkened and the colors were toned down for broadcast on Japanese broadcast television. Although this drew criticism from the public, the treatment was necessary due to a law requiring reduced colors and lights in television programs to prevent problems such as seizures.

On the other hand, the Blu-ray release, which arrived this week in Japan, features the original animation for the episodes in all its beauty. In the photo frame above, we can see a comparison of the TV and home video animation, and notice that the original colors and brightness make a significant difference.

Synopsis:

Ever since high school student Yuji Itadori became involved with the secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, he has been training to confront the curses, evil beings that haunt the living world. Therefore, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student-in-training under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
