After much anticipation, Jujutsu Kaisen has finally returned with a new season to continue the adaptation of Gege Akutami . It seems many fans were satisfied with the first episode of the anime's second season, so the series creator took the opportunity to say that he's also excited about this return.

In a recent comment, Gege Akutami expressed his satisfaction with Shota Goshozono of the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen. Based on the first season and the movie, the mangaka believes the anime will return with great quality and impress fans.
“Director Goshozono is from the same generation and has a similar sensibility to mine. I feel he has the same goal in mind as I do. I can feel his determination to make [the anime] even better based on its first season and movie, so I’m already very satisfied with it, even though it hasn’t aired yet. I hope many people watch the anime season. Especially if you don’t know much about the manga.”
Furthermore, Akutami also expressed his gratitude to the animation team after watching the first episode of season 2.
"Congratulations and thank you to all the team members who worked on the first episode of the second season. It was amazing to see how the anime aligned and added cool scenes and effects. The author couldn't feel more blessed."
Synopsis:
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. To protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the Jujutsu sorcerers as a trainee under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of them all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and consisted of 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . The studio also handled the production of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
