After a long wait, Jujutsu Kaisen finally returned with a new season to follow up the adaptation of Gege Akutami . It seems that many fans were satisfied with the first episode of the anime's 2nd season, so the series creator took the opportunity to say that he is also excited about this return.

In a recent comment, Gege Akutami expressed his satisfaction with Shota Goshozono in the 2nd season of Jujutsu Kaisen. Based on the first season and the film, the mangaka believes that the anime will return with great quality and impress fans.
“Director Goshozono is from the same generation and has a similar sensitivity to mine. I feel like he has the same goal in mind as I do. I can feel their determination to make [the anime] even better based on its first season and movie, so I'm already very satisfied with it even though it hasn't aired yet. I hope many people watch the anime season. Especially if you don't know much about the manga.”
Furthermore, Akutami also expressed his gratitude to the animation team after watching the first episode of season 2.
“Congratulations and thanks to all the team members who worked on the first episode of season two. It was incredible to see how the anime aligned and added cool scenes and effects. The author could not feel more blessed.”
Synopsis:
The story therefore follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. So, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student in training under the guardianship of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . The studio also handled the production of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
