Jujutsu Kaisen: Fans accuse manga of plagiarizing scene from Fate/Stay Night

Chapter 249 of Jujutsu Kaisen generated a lot of buzz due to the battle between Yuta and Sukuna, some of which culminated in Yuta's expansion of power. At that moment, we see the scene of both characters, surrounded by katanas on all sides.

Yuta Okkotsu's domain expansion generated positive reviews, but Japanese forums accused him of copying the Fate/Stay Night franchise. The debate intensified thanks to a post on the popular blog Yaraon titled "Jujutsu Kaisen: Okkotsu's Domain Expansion Is a Technique Copied from Fate/Stay Night." The above comparison shows two images from both franchises.

However, in Fate/Stay Night, Archer class character is able to summon a wide variety of weapons. It's this very similar scenario to Yuta that has generated so much criticism, though it's important to note that the universes of both franchises are completely different.

Synopsis

Ever since high school student Yuji Itadori became involved with the secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, he has been training to confront the curses, evil beings that haunt the living world. Therefore, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student-in-training under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.

Finally, Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. Also, comment if you agree with plagiarism? Join our news channel on WhatsApp .
