The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is close to its premiere and the manga recently reached a new sales record. Then the franchise will get a live-action project in the format of a TV commercial to celebrate the occasion.

The announcement came from the official Jujutsu Kaisen profile with a post from the city where the commercial is being produced. According to the information, the location is a live-action version seen in the world of “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”, which will be broadcast on July 5th in Japan. This production will be made in honor of the 23rd release of the manga and its record sales with 80 million copies in circulation.
Synopsis:
The story therefore follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. So, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student in training under the guardianship of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . The studio also handled the production of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
