Through Twitter, the official profile revealed the programming calendar for the 2nd season of Jujutsu Kaisen. So the source explains in detail to the public how many episodes each arc will have. Firstly, the first five episodes will focus on the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death . Next, the anime will have two recap episodes for the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the first season. Anyway, the anime will adapt the Shibuya Incident arc, which will be the majority of this season.
Synopsis:
The story therefore follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. So, to protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the jujutsu sorcerers as a student in training under the guardianship of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . The studio also handled the production of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
