Jujutsu Kaisen: Maplestar confirms continuation of Nobara animation

An update from talented animator Maplestar made fans happy by announcing a sequel to his recent animation of Yuuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki from the “Jujutsu Kaisen” series. Known for creating animations aimed at an adult audience, the animator commented on difficulties in the project.

Jujutsu Kaisen Nobara Maplestar

Portando Maplestar said in his post on April 4th that he already had a sequel planned for that animation when he made the first part. He finishes by saying:

  • The other projects are still gaining love, but I don't want to keep you waiting with the JJK project. I'll show you some progress on the other projects next week!

While Maplestar's unique style has gained her a large fan base over the years, a large part is her commitment to keeping her designs true to those of the official anime. This is why many viewers end up being tricked into thinking they are watching an official production when they watch the artist's videos.

Furthermore, the fact that Maplestar hires Japanese voice actors and actresses to voice the characters in its animations is something that is greatly appreciated by more traditional fans.

Synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen:

We are now introduced to Yuji Itadori, a high school student, involved with the secret society of wizards called Jujutsu Kaisen, although Itadori dedicated himself to training to face curses, which are evil beings that haunt the world of the living. This training journey has led him to confront increasingly greater challenges, whilst being prepared for the dangers he and his companions will face.

Therefore, Gege Akutami began serializing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018. Finally, the first season of the anime had a total of twenty-four episodes and premiered in the Fall-2022 season (from October to December).
