Weekly Shonen Jump surprised fans by releasing the first chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Mojuro , a new short-lived manga created by Gege Akutami in partnership with Yuji Iwasaki (author of Cipher Academy ). The title, which had been announced as a special project, has now been confirmed as an official Jujutsu Kaisen spin-off .
