Satoru Gojo is seen by many fans as the best character in Jujutsu Kaisen due to his immense charisma and power. However, unlike the fans, Gege always shows unfavorable opinions towards Gojo. After the Gojo Past arc came to an end in the anime, Gege shared a special note about the animation for episode 5.
In his note, the mangaka demonstrated his enthusiasm for the anime's new artistic style and the direction of Shōta Goshozono and his team. However, Gege also makes a sarcastic comment about Gojo, referring to him as a “mob character”. This term is used for secondary characters who do not have much value to the story. Although this note seems like a hateful insult, the mangaka was only sarcastic to show that he does not worship Gojo like his fans.
Many even speculate that Gojo stayed away for so long in the manga because his creator doesn't like him. It is speculated that Gege dislikes Gojo because of his God Complex and because he is popular just because he is powerful.
