K Anime – Project gets a sequel in 2015

According to what was published via Twitter , the anime “K” will get its sequel, or rather a continuation that will only arrive in 2015. The announcement does not specify what type of media the project will be, but the image posted by the team shows the character Yashiro, and says: “ Each of your titles are… ” More information should be coming soon.

K follows the story of a young man whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings. Ashinaka College is known for a peculiar feature: the entire campus is built on an island. Isana Yashiro is having a snack with a cat on the school roof. After snack time, Shiro goes to help a classmate prepare for the upcoming festival, and ends up being chased by intimidating-looking men.

The first season of the anime premiered in 2012 in Japan, and Viz Media is currently streaming it in North America since it aired. An English dub broadcast on the Neon Alley Viz service. Viz released the series on Blu-ray and DVD. The anime also inspired several adaptations, both manga and spin-offs.
