Krafton has released update 36.2 for PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC, marking the debut of their unprecedented collaboration with K-Pop group aespa. The patch, which arrives on consoles on July 17th, includes themed content, improvements to vehicle camouflage, and significant changes to the clan system.
The new phase of the game combines music and gameplay to offer an even more immersive experience for fans. The company recommends that everyone check the full patch notes on the official website, where all the changes and improvements implemented in this version are detailed.

aespa debuts in the PUBG universe with original visual content and music
For the first time, PUBG is collaborating with Aespa, one of the biggest names in K-Pop today. The partnership includes a series of visual elements inspired by the group, such as themed arenas in Miramar, custom supply packs, decorated planes, and an emote stage that appears on all 8x8 maps.
Furthermore, KRAFTON produced an original song exclusively for the campaign and will officially release it on July 15th, along with a music video and special in-game content. Thus, the collaboration enhances immersion in the PUBG universe, connecting pop culture and the competitive environment of the battle royale.

Vehicle Camouflage Network receives technical improvements and greater map coverage
Introduced in update 35.2, the Vehicle Camouflage Net has been improved in this new version. With greater durability and reduced weight, the item is now more functional for survival and ambush strategies.
In addition to technical improvements, the camouflage net is now also available on the Rondo and Taego maps. This will allow players to explore new tactical possibilities in more areas of the game, maintaining the element of surprise as a competitive advantage.
The Clan System evolves with a new interface and display features
Another major new feature in update 36.2 is the overhaul of the clan system. Now, players can view a new weekly ranking page, allowing them to track team performance in real time.
Furthermore, personalized nameplates have also been implemented. They appear during matches and help reinforce the identity of clans within the game. With this, KRAFTON is betting on valuing the social and competitive aspect, encouraging the creation of more engaged communities.
