Today I bring news that directly affects many of us!! Kadokawa , one of the largest publishers and producers of anime in Japan, had to take a drastic measure: shutting down several of its servers while it investigates a possible cyber threat.

- Anime “The Elusive Samurai”, trailer reveals release date
The suspicion is that an attack involving unauthorized external access has occurred. As a result, several important websites are temporarily offline. Among those affected are the popular streaming service Niconico and several official anime websites produced by Kadokawa.
This situation is worrying, as Kadokawa is a key player in distributing much of the content we love. From major anime series to light novels and manga, the company plays a crucial role in our community. Additionally, Niconico is an essential platform for many anime fans, offering a wide range of videos, live streams, and an interactive space for fans to connect.
For now, KADOKAWA is working hard to resolve this issue. There is still no forecast of when services will return to normal, but the company ensures that it is doing everything possible to guarantee the security of its systems and the protection of user data.
We'll keep an eye out for new updates and hope everything gets resolved soon. In the meantime, keep following AnimeNew for more information on this and other topics in the world of anime !
Stay tuned and, of course, continue enjoying the best of the otaku universe with us!
