Samura advances and demonstrates his superiority in combat
The chapter begins with Samura emerging from the sky, wielding his Tobimune blade. His black wings vanish into thin air, leaving behind only crow feathers. Iori watches his father, who carries a cold and menacing aura.
Toto, sensing Samura's murderous intent, suggests an immediate retreat, but Hiruhiko hesitates, believing that Iori's presence might restrain the blind swordsman's impulses.
Hesitation comes at a high price. In an instant, Samura decapitates Hiruhiko and Toto. Iori is shocked to witness the murder. Samura uses the crow feathers to perceive his surroundings.
The "Crow" ability allows him to switch places with these feathers, which justifies his reputation as the fastest among enchanted blade wielders.

The battle reveals Kumeyuri's powers in Kagurabachi
The scene takes an unexpected turn when Hiruhiko's decapitated head begins to speak. What seemed like a massacre turns out to be a well-executed trap. The enchanted blade Kumeyuri, wielded by Hiruhiko, melts like liquid, revealing that it was all just an illusion.
A new panel shows two geishas serving sake from a bowl. This is Kumeyuri's "En" ability, which induces hallucinations through intoxication. Hiruhiko activates the power before Samura's attack and manages to escape with Toto undetected.
Iori and Samura: emotional tension and memory manipulation
After the illusion wears off, Samura senses his daughter's presence and orders Rou to reverse the release of Iori's memory seal. Rou then confirms that Iori broke the seal on his own.
Samura orders that Iori's memories be sealed again. However, indignant, she confronts her father and says that he never listened to her words. Samura, in turn, is unable to respond, only grinding his teeth at the accusation.

Chihiro springs into action while Hishaku prepares an offensive in Tokyo
Chihiro, impressed by Samura's performance and Kumeyuri's illusion, decides to act. He uses the "Kuro: Shred" technique and runs towards Samura, demanding that he protect Iori. Samura responds by eliminating the Hishaku members who were threatening his daughter.
Meanwhile, Chihiro sets off in pursuit of Hiruhiko, who is hiding with Toto, possibly still inside the hotel. Chihiro believes that, being a novice, Hiruhiko shouldn't be able to extend Kumeyuri's range very far. This hypothesis is confirmed when he locates the two and initiates direct combat.
In the midst of the fight, Hiruhiko is determined to capture Iori, believing this may be his only chance. Toto tries to convince him to retreat, reminding him of his injuries, but Hiruhiko insists. The conversation reveals that they have a long history together, and that now is not the time to run away.

Conflict intensifies with Hishaku's strategic moves
At the end of the Kagurabachi chapter, the spoilers shift the focus to Tokyo, where Yura and another member of Hishaku are preparing an attack on Kamunabi's headquarters, which is hidden underground.
Yura recognizes that Samura is her most powerful asset, but understands that it will be necessary to manipulate him – and even destroy him – for Hishaku to gain the upper hand. The plan positions Iori as a key player and indicates a possible second offensive should the situation in Kyoto worsen.

Perspectives for the next chapters of Kagurabachi
Chapter 75 of Kagurabachi promises to be one of the most strategic and revealing yet. The illusory abilities of the Kumeyuri blade add a new layer to the universe of enchanted blades, while the psychological clash between Samura and Iori deepens the family conflicts that permeate the plot.
Finally, with the threat of Hishaku drawing closer to Kamunabi headquarters, readers should prepare for even more intense twists and turns in the upcoming chapters. The fight for control of the enchanted blades is far from over – and all indications suggest that the worst is yet to come.
