The official website for the live-action film adaptation of anime /manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai – Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen) by Aka Akasaka began streaming the film's first full trailer this week. Saturday (15).
The film will premiere in Japanese cinemas from September 6th. Hayato Kawai (live-action My Love Story!!, Nisekoi) is directing the film. Yuichi Tokunaga (live-action Tonde Saitama, Princess Jellyfish series) is writing the script.
The protagonists will be played by Sho Hirano (member of the idol group King & Prince) as Miyuki Shirogane and Kanna Hashimoto as Kaguya Shinomiya.

Additionally, voice actress Aoi Koga, who played Kaguya in the anime adaptation, will have a guest role in the live-action version of the film as a cinema employee.
The synopsis of the story:
All is fair when love is war!
Two geniuses. Two brains. Two hearts. A battle. Who will confess their love first…?!
Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are two geniuses who are at the top of their prestigious academy's student council, making them the elite among the elite. But it's lonely at the top and each has fallen in love with the other. There is just one big problem standing in the way of loving happiness – they are both too proud to be the first to confess their romantic feelings and thus become “losers” in the love competition! And so begins his daily schemes to force the other to confess first!
Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) had its anime adaptation last winter season and the animation was delivered to studio A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Magi) . The direction is by Mamoru Hatakeyama (Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, Record of Grancrest War, Sankarea: Undying Love), the story is by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Shiawase Restaurant, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 4: Loss) and the character design is by responsibility of Yuuko Yahiro (Diabolik Lovers, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko).
The manga began to be published in May 2015 in Miracle Jump magazine, but in March 2016 the work began to be published in Young Jump magazine. It also inspired an anime adaptation of the same, which premiered on January 12 and aired with 12 episodes.
