The novel Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi was launched online at “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (Let's Become Novelists) in December 2016. Kadokawa began publishing the work with art by Shiokonbu in July 2017.
manga adaptation by Sōken Haga began serialization in Young Ace Up in October 2017.
