It was revealed in the 7th issue of Kodansha 's Morning that a spin-off of the Kaiji manga will debut in the next issue of the magazine, which will be released on January 21st.
Furthermore, it is confirmed that the spin-off will focus on the character Seiya Ichijou.
The manga will be the third in a series of spin-offs. The previous spin-offs were called " Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues ," which debuted in 2015, and the manga " 1-nichi Gaishutsuroku Hanchou ," released in December 2016.
Author Nobuyuki Fukumoto began serializing Kaiji in Kodansha 's Young between 1996 and 1999.
