The official website for the Kaiju No. 8 anime has released a new teaser trailer, promotional art, and important details about the animation studio. The premiere is confirmed for 2024.
IG Production ( Ghost in the Shell) is handling the animation, while Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) is in charge of the overall designs and artwork.
Synopsis
Japan has the highest rate of monster sightings in the world, suffering invasions every day. In the past, Kafka Hibino aspired to be part of the Defense Forces, but currently works for a company specializing in cleaning up the remnants of battles fought with monsters. One day, the young man's body is transformed by a mysterious creature, and he receives the codename "Kaiju No. 8" from the Japan Self-Defense Forces, the organization responsible for subduing the monsters!
