Kaiju No. 8 gets a trailer for episode 10 of season 2

This Wednesday (17) the official website of Kaiju No. 8 announced the new trailer focused on episode 10 of the 2nd season of the anime.

The preview with new scenes begins the “Mass Disaster” , starting from episode #22 (the 10th episode of the 2nd season), airing on September 20 (Saturday) .

What happened in episode 9?

The episode begins with Isao fighting the Kaiju No. 9 within himself , but his resistance reaches its limit. Meanwhile, Kafka trains with Hoshina to prolong his transformation without losing his humanity. Kikoru hands over his terminal, and Kafka finally speaks to Reno and Iharu , who support him and show that his companions still care about him. This fills him with relief.

Meanwhile, several Kaiju eggs are about to hatch, and strange apparitions begin to appear across Japan. The Defense Forces prepare, and Kikoru receives Weapon No. 4 , inherited from his mother. Kafka also encounters Mina , who reminds him not to carry the burden alone. But the episode ends on a dark note, with a Kaiju disguised as a human attacking and killing several people .

The tenth episode of Kaiju No. 8 premieres on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 PM (JST) . It will air worldwide on Crunchyroll , maintaining the weekly Saturday schedule.
