Synopsis of episode 12
While the members of the Third Unit race to save Kafka's life, an intense battle rages on at the Ariake Rinkai base between Kaiju No. 8 and Kou. Kou, who skillfully controls the power of the great kaiju, demonstrates the legendary strength that earned him acclaim as the strongest in the history of the Defense Force. However, Kaiju No. 8, out of control due to losing control of Kafka, counterattacks with unrestrained fury, disregarding the damage to his own body.
