The ending of the previous episode of the animeKaiju No. 8 ” (Monster #8) ended revealing Captain Soshiro Hoshina hunting Kaiju (Kafka). That said, the official website released new images and a trailer for episode 8 of the anime.

Kaiju No. 8 Episode 8 Synopsis

To save Reno and the others from a mysterious kaiju in human form, Kafka transforms into Kaiju No. 8. Just as he manages to fend off the kaiju, he encounters Hoshina, who has been searching for him. Fighting fiercely against Hoshina's ferocious attacks, Kafka hesitates to retaliate with full force for fear of injuring him. Even narrowly escaping, Hoshina is left feeling uneasy about the confrontation.

Kaiju No. 8 Synopsis:

Japan is the place with the highest monster occurrence rate in the world, suffering invasions every day. In the past, Kafka Hibino aspired to join the Japanese Defense Forces, but now he works for a company specializing in cleaning up the remains of battles with monsters. But one day, the boy's body is transformed by a mysterious creature and he receives the codename "Kaiju No. 8" from the Japanese Defense Forces, the organization responsible for subduing the monsters!
