We have a new trailer for Naoya  Matsumoto anime " Kaiju No. 8. " The trailer reveals: The journey to become a member of the Defense Forces is difficult, but the new recruits are ready to face anything . The production is from Production I.G. (Psycho-Pass, Vinland Saga).

Therefore, the giant monster anime premieres this April in Japan as well as on Crunchyroll's streaming services. The trailer also features the opening song "Abyss" by YUNGBLUD and the ending song "Nobody" by OneRepublic .

Synopsis:

Japan is the place with the highest monster occurrence rate in the world, suffering invasions every day. In the past, Kafka Hibino aspired to join the Japanese Defense Forces, but now he works for a company specializing in cleaning up the remains of battles with monsters. One day, the boy's body is transformed by a mysterious creature and he is given the codename "Kaiju No. 8" by the Japanese Defense Forces, the organization responsible for subduing the monsters!

Therefore, Naoya Matsumoto launched the manga in July 2020 on Shueisha 's Shonen Jump+ . Since then, the manga has been released every two weeks on the website and on the MANGA Plus , where all its chapters are available for free, but only in English.
