The second season of Kaiju No. 8 is already leaving fans in countdown. The official website has revealed a new promotional look inspired by this year's spring, Hype only increases.

While we await the return of Kafka Hibino and the Defense Force against Kajus, the official anime account in X (former Twitter) released a new art from the Kaiju Hyakkei series - a project that portrays the characters in rest for Japan. This time, Mina, Kikoru and Konomi appear enjoying a typical spring day, sitting on a park under the flowery, taking advantage of a flowery park Quiet picnic.
So season 2 debut in July 2025 on TV Tokyo and other Japan stations. The compilation of the first season and the new original episode, “Hoshina's Day Off”, will be shown simultaneously at a limited launch.
This illustration follows the release of the OVA “Hoshina's Day Off”, which arrives with the special movie Mission Recon, scheduled to premiere in theaters later this semester. In addition, the Kaiju Hyakkei series will continue to be updated on the 8th of each month, always bringing new perspectives of the characters outside the battlefield.
