series manga "Kaiju No. 8" has just received official confirmation that an anime will be made.

Synopsis
In the story, Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro dream of becoming dedicated exterminators of kaiju (Japanese monsters) after losing their homes because of them. However, young Kafka doesn't meet the physical requirements to join the Defense Force. But while working for a company specializing in cleaning up battle debris, a mysterious creature transforms his body, granting him the power to become a kaiju.
