Kaina of the Great Snow Sea premiered on Fuji TV's Ultra+ block in Japan on January 12.

Synopsis
The story takes place in a world where the earth is being swallowed by the Great Snow Sea. Humanity ekes out a living above the Tenmaku (a pun on the Japanese word for tent) that stretches from the roots to the top of the gigantic Orbital Trees. The story centers on Kaina, a boy who lives above the Tenmaku, and Liliha, the princess of the small country of Atland in the Great Snow Sea.
Therefore, the anime celebrates Polygon Pictures' 40th anniversary. Furthermore, the manga version of the story was released in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in February 2022.
