Kaina of the Great Snow Sea premiered on Fuji TV's Ultra+ block in Japan on January 12.

Synopsis
The story takes place in a world where the land is being swallowed by the Great Sea of Snow. Humanity makes its living above the Tenmaku (a pun on the Japanese word for tent) that stretches from the roots to the tops of the gigantic orbiting trees. The story centers on Kaina, a boy who lives above the Tenmaku, and Liliha, the princess of the small country Atland in the Great Snow Sea.
Therefore the anime celebrates the 40th anniversary of Polygon Pictures. Furthermore, the manga version of the story was released in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in February 2022.
