Fuji TV has announced that the film sequel to Kaina of the Great Snow Sea (Oyukiumi no Kaina) will premiere in theaters in Japan in October under the title “ Kaina of the Great Snow Sea: Star Sage ” (Oyukiumi no Kaina: Hoshi no Kenja).
Crunchyroll has licensed the film and released a trailer for it.

Kaina of the Great Snow Sea premiered on Fuji TV's Ultra+ block in Japan on January 12.

Synopsis
The story takes place in a world where the earth is being swallowed by the Great Snow Sea. Humanity ekes out a living above the Tenmaku (a pun on the Japanese word for tent) that stretches from the roots to the top of the gigantic Orbital Trees. The story centers on Kaina, a boy who lives above the Tenmaku, and Liliha, the princess of the small country of Atland in the Great Snow Sea.
