The staff of the first live-action film based on the Kakegurui manga by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura revealed that the film will have a sequel that will premiere in Japan in 2021 .
The film is tentatively titled Eiga Kakegurui Part 2. Additionally, Tsutomu Hanabusa is returning to direct the film and write the script, and Minato Takano is also writing the script.
The first live-action adaptation of Kakegurui therefore had a total of 10 episodes and premiered in Japan in January 2018.
