The team behind the first live-action film based on Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura 's Kakegurui manga revealed that the film will have a sequel that will premiere in Japan in 2021 .
The film is tentatively titled Eiga Kakegurui Part2. Additionally, Tsutomu Hanabusa is returning to direct the film and write the screenplay, and Minato Takano is also writing the screenplay.
The first live-action adaptation of Kakegurui therefore had a total of 10 episodes and premiered in Japan in January 2018.
