Kamen Rider: Fuuto PI - Anime gets trailer and premiere date

The first full trailer for the new Kamen Rider: Fuuto PI anime has arrived . According to the official website, the series is set to premiere in Japan August 1st

Therefore, the animation is by the Kai studio with direction by Yousuke Kabashima and character design by Hidekazu Ebina .

Synopsis:

In Fuuto City, criminals use devices called "Gaia Memories" to transform into super-powered monsters known as "Dopants," wreaking havoc on the peaceful city. However, there are also heroes who use "Gaia Memories" to fight these criminals, one of whom is the self-proclaimed detective Shoutarou Hidari. With the help of his resourceful partner Philip, the two transform into Kamen Rider W, the legendary hero of Fuuto City.

The anime project celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Kamen Rider franchise. Funimation initially announced it would stream the anime, but Crunchyroll is now streaming Funimation titles.

Finally, the anime is based on the manga derived from Kamen Rider W (Double, 2009~10).
