Kamen Rider: Fuuto PI – Anime gets trailer and release date

The first full trailer for the new Kamen Rider: Fuuto PI anime . According to the official website, the series is confirmed to premiere on August 1st in Japan.

Therefore, the animation is from the Kai studio, directed by Yousuke Kabashima and character designer by Hidekazu Ebina .

Synopsis:

In the city of Fuuto, criminals use devices called “Gaia Memories” to transform into super-powered monsters known as “Dopants”, wreaking havoc on the peaceful city. However, there are also heroes who use the “Gaia Memories” to fight these criminals, one of which is the self-proclaimed detective Shoutarou Hidari. With the help of ingenious partner Philip, the two transform into Kamen Rider W, the legendary hero of Fuuto City.

The anime project celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Kamen Rider franchise. Funimation initially announced that it would stream the anime, but Crunchyroll is now streaming Funimation titles.

Finally, the anime is based on the manga derived from Kamen Rider W (Double, 2009~10).
