The story takes place in an old house located in rural Japan, a peaceful place haunted by evil spirits. Everything changes when a young man unexpectedly purifies the house with his mysterious powers. This fusion of the supernatural and rural everyday life creates a unique setting, where Japanese traditions, spirituality, and interpersonal bonds delicately intertwine. As the gods settle into the house, the protagonist learns about himself, the place's past, and the meaning of coexisting with entities as powerful as they are unique.
Originally released in 2021 as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō , the title was soon acquired by ASCII Media Works , who published the work under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. It then gained a manga adaptation illustrated by Akira Anzai , published on Kadokawa's ComicWalker
