This Friday (30), Kadokawa revealed a new teaser, promotional art, voice actors and confirmed the 2024 premiere of the anime adaptation of the light novel Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru (God's Game We Play).

Nobunaga Shimazaki will play Fay, while Akari Kitō will play the role of Leoleshea.
Tatsuya Shiraishi , who was the unit director for the episodes of Overlord II and Overlord III, is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS (Call of the Night, Hanebado!). NTL is responsible for the series scripts. Yoshihiro Watanabe of Frontier One is the character designer, and Gin of Busted Rose is composing the music at Pony Canyon .
Synopsis
When the gods get bored, they decide to liven up their eternal existence by challenging all who dare to participate in a supreme battle of wits! Of course, these deities are often capricious, unfair, and incomprehensible, making victory virtually impossible for a mere mortal. Still, things are sure to get interesting when a former goddess and a genius human boy team up in a bid to win the game to end all games!
Kadokawa then published the first volume of the light novel in January 2021, with illustrations by Toiro Tomose. The sixth volume was released on January 25th, and the seventh volume will arrive on July 25th.
Finally, a manga adaptation by Kapiko Toriumi debuted in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in August 2021. The publisher published the manga's second volume on April 21.
