Pony Canyon has released the first trailer for the second season of the hit anime Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss), an adaptation of Julietta Suzuki .
Author Julietta Suzuki's original work has revealed that it is bringing back the entire cast from the first season. In addition to Akitaro Daichi, who will direct the series at TMS Entertainment, Junko Yamanaka will provide character designs and also serve as animation director.
Kamisama Hajimemashita's story begins with Momozono Nanami's father, a man with a gambling addiction, disappearing after accumulating a huge debt. Soon, she is evicted from her home by creditors. When she helps a shy boy being chased by a dog, he tells her he'll give her his house. She believes his persuasive words, but when she goes to the place... It turns out to be nothing more than a temple. What's more, a boy with fox ears appears, which leaves Nanami even more confused.
